Advanced Car Service (ACS) Terms and Conditions

By creating a reservation with ACS you acknowledge and expressly agree to the following terms and
conditions and authorize ACS to charge your credit card in full for all charges relating to your
reservation, including, but not limited to, charging your credit card in full for the reservation should you
be considered a “no-show”. Service is deemed rendered, whether you enter the vehicle or not, or when the
threshold of the cancellation period is reached.

All reservations will be charged any state taxes and transportation fees, and any applicable fees such as
administrative fees, actual tolls based on full cash rate, parking, additional service fees, luggage carts,
early/late/holiday fees, and a minimum variable fuel charge based on current conditions and vehicle
booked.. In addition to 20% gratuity and any applicable wait time which is included in the final rate of
the vehicle. All hourly rates are charged from garage to garage. This rate will be heard by be referred to as
the “full rate” All Deposits are non-refundable
Cancellations are guaranteed via phone only, 201-569-7000. Taxi and Sedan cancellations require 12
hours notice before the scheduled pickup time. Specialty vehicle cancellations require 24 hours` notice
before the scheduled pickup time. Failure to cancel a reservation in accordance with the above
specifications will result in the full rate being charged. If you attempt to make a cancellation via any other
method than direct phone call, your cancellation time will be based on the time it was received by by our
office.
ACS requires that all modifications to a reservation be made via phone at 201-590-7000 at least 4 hours
prior to the scheduled pick-up time. If a change cannot be accommodated and results in a cancellation you
will be charged full rate for the reservation. Changes cannot be made with our Chauffeurs. All changes
must be made with a reservation specialist at our office.

If you have a reservation and don’t see your car or driver please call our call center at 201-569-7000.
Neglecting to make contact via a call to our call center may result in a “No Show” and will be billed the
full rate of the reservation.

Wait time fees will apply 15 minutes after the prearranged time described on the reservation. Reservations
will be deemed a “No-Show” if you or your party has not made contact with our office via phone call at
201-569-7000 within one hour of your prearranged reservation time. A “No Show” will be billable at the
full rate of the reservation and applicable wait time.
Exceptions to the above wait time policy include airport arrivals, local taxi transfers, and cruise port
arrivals. After 30 minutes on domestic arrival and 45 minutes on international arrivals wait time will be
applied. On airport arrivals, reservation start time is from the moment that the plane lands at the airport.
If contact has not been made within 1 hour on a domestic arrival, or 90 minutes on an international arrival,
the chauffeur will be released with a “No Show”, billable at the full rate of the reservation and applicable
wait time. For an untrackable flight at a private airport, domestic arrival policies will apply. For Cruise
ship arrivals, international arrival policies will apply from the prearranged time of your reservation. For
local taxi transfers, a 5 minute grace period applies before waiting time begins, and a 30-minute “No
Show” policy will apply.
Wait time charges apply at the per minute rate of the booked vehicle, plus 20% gratuity, and all applicable
fees.. Current per minute vehicle wait time charges are $1 per minute in a taxi, $1 per minute in a Sedan,
$1.25 per minute in a VIP Sedan or SUV, $1.50 in a Van, and $2 per minute in a limo/bus. ACS reserves
the right to change those rates to correspond the current hourly rates of the above vehicles.
A late night and early morning surcharge of $25 will be applied for any pickups between 11:00 pm and
6:00am in a Sedan, SUV, VIP Sedan, Van, Limo or Bus. For Local Taxi Transfers, this fee will be reduced
to $10.

A Holiday/Peak surcharge of $25 will be applied for any pickups in a Sedan, SUV, VIP Sedan, Van, Limo
or Bus. For Local Taxi Transfers, this fee will be reduced to $10. Current holiday and peak period days
recognized by ACS are New Year`s Day, Easter Sunday, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Eve,
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year`s Eve. ACS reserves the right to add
additional peak period days, or recognized holidays based on need.
Any extra stops within the same town of the pickup, and drop location, or along the designated route will be
billed an additional $5 per stop for taxis, $10 per stop for sedans, $15 per stop for SUVs/VIP Sedans, $20
per stop for Vans and $25 for larger vehicles. This will be added to the base fare of the vehicle and
gratuity and other fees will apply to that.. Any additional stops not along the route will be charged a flat
travel time fee plus gratuity and applicable fees.

Meet and Greet services are available at all airports. There is an additional fee of $30 to cover the
services and parking. Drivers will meet you at the assigned luggage carousel for domestic flights, or
outside of the customs doors for international flights. If you require the driver to rent you a luggage cart,
an additional fee may be applied.
The State of NY charges a $2.75 surcharge for any vehicle used to provide transportation in or through the
congestion zone that is not a medallion taxicab or a pool vehicle. This fee may change as updated by the
State of NY.

As of April 5, 2021, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority) will charge all for-
hire vehicles (FHVs) an access fee for pick-ups and drop-offs at airports. There will be a $2.75 fee for

each pick-up and drop-off transfer to these airports. This fee may change as updated by PANYNJ.

All rates are subject to review after order completion. This audit includes actual tolls, parking fees,
additional stops, etc. Hourly jobs are billed the number of hours you ordered the vehicle for, then in 1⁄2
hour increments, thereafter. The minimum posted number of hours is only the minimum number of hours we
will accept an order for not the final charges which will be based on the actual time used. The company
reserves the right to change rates at any time without notice.
ACS reserves the right to upgrade or change a vehicle request to accommodate a client’s reservation at no
charge to the client if deemed necessary. The upgraded vehicle will at least seat and accommodate
luggage for the same or greater number of passengers.
The company is not responsible for Acts of God, Acts of Mother Nature and or circumstances that are beyond
our control including, but not limited to traffic congestion, accidents, flight delays, weather delays, or
road closures that may cause delays or cancellations.

ACS is not responsible for items that are left in the vehicle, lost or damaged. Carter’s Concierge reserves
the right to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found. The rate will be equal to the rate of an
Airport Transfer to your location plus 20% chauffeur gratuity and any applicable fuel fees and tolls.
Company reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund, if the Operator or the Dispatcher
on duty feels that the Renter and or Party of the Renter is putting the Operator or the mode of
transportation or the Renter and or Party of the Renter in danger of injury. Additionally, if the Renter and
or Party of the Renter are in the possession of any illegal material and or illegal substances, this service
will be terminated immediately and charged at the full amount of the reservation. This is without
exception. Alcohol consumption and drug use is prohibited by law. Any fines will be paid for by the
customer. It is illegal to stand through the sunroof. Smoking is not permitted in any of our cars,
limousines or taxis. Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity and all riders must wear a safety
belt.

ACS is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown while on charter and will only be responsible for
making up lost time at a mutually agreed date. The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to
the taxi or limousine caused during the duration of the rental by them or any members of their party. A fee
of 200.00 for each carpet or seat burn. Sanitation/cleaning fee of $250-$500 may be applied if the vehicle is
not left in the same clean condition as it was provided to the client or their party.
All balances to be paid to Advanced Car Service on the run date before the beginning of the run without
exception. ACS accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Cash. Authorization of credit
cards may occur prior to your reservation date.
